Plans change. A train is delayed, a hotel room isn’t ready, a friend suggests an afternoon in Fiesole. Same-day luggage storage is for exactly these moments: you decide on the spot, and five minutes later your hands are free.
How same-day storage works
- Register online with your name, email and phone number. Your 4- or 6-digit access code appears immediately.
- Walk to Via Palazzuolo 170, 4 minutes from Santa Maria Novella station.
- Type the code on the keypad to the left of the door.
- Pay the first hour at the kiosk, which assigns you a free medium or large locker.
- Lock your bags and leave by pressing the door-release button inside.
- Come back with the same code, pay any difference for the time used, and collect your luggage.

Is there always a free locker?
Lockers are assigned on arrival at the kiosk, first come, first served. If you need a large locker at a busy time (Easter, spring weekends, summer mornings), arriving earlier in the day is a good idea.
